The Design/Build process has great advantages in allowing "early news about costs", allowing us to avoid big surprises at the conclusion of the design exercise.
- Many homeowners go through a great deal of time and expense to have project plans fully developed for bidding purposes, only to find out that the cost is well over their desired budget, and the project goes no where.
- We create cost estimates early in the design phase to ensure that we are within a customer's desired budget range. If we find the preliminary design exceeds the budget, adjustments can easily be made so that the completed project design falls within the desired range.
Working in a closely coordinated effort, the design, estimating and production departments can share their resources of knowledge and expertise.
