The Chrysalis Awards recognize the nation‘s best remodeling work in four regional competitions that encompass the entire US. Judged by editors and writers of Better Homes and Gardens, Woman‘s Day‘s Remodeling and Makeovers, Southern Living Magazine, and Sunset Magazine, the entries are judged on overall design, the creative use of space and materials, and the degree to which the projects enhance the original structure.

The HOBI Awards are the most prestigious recognition in the state for excellence in remodeling. Each year the HBA of CT has challenged its members to submit their best projects in an effort to recognize craftsmanship, construction ingenuity and consumer value.
