Awards 2007 CHRYSALIS

Clark Construction did a complete overhaul of a dilapidated 1850’s home. Previous disjointed additions were removed, replaced by additions and an attached garage with graceful lines of the new space in keeping with the original home.

Previous additions, and the back half of the house were removed. The house was jacked up, structural enhancements made and moisture problems addressed. New additions were added at the back, as well as an attached barn-style 2-˝ car garage with a future bonus room, and mudroom connection to the main house.

The historic look of the home was enhanced through the lines of the additions, and in the interior detailing. The homogeneity of reclaimed and “new” antique plank flooring through out the home pulls it all together.
