The HOBI Awards are the most prestigious recognition in the state for excellence in remodeling. Each year the HBA of CT has challenged its members to submit their best projects in an effort to recognize craftsmanship, construction ingenuity and consumer value. Clark Construction of Ridgefield, Inc.’s award winning project was a 1780’s home that the owners wanted to return to its elegant roots – with an addition that would look like it had always been there. Details from three previous additions, not in keeping with the style of the original house, were removed. New kitchen and master bath suites were built atop one another. A curved roof integrates the new space harmoniously with the original structure. This was a great collaboration between the client and the design team. The client was fun to work with, and the finished product more than exceeded their wishes and expectations.
