FUTURE HOME OFFICE
Our clients wished for a new garage that would add some character to their home,
and which would provide a location for a future home office.
The terrain at the site presented unique challenges due to the severity of the slope
into which the garage needed to be built. There was limited area available for the
driveway turnaround and the garage. The garage, as designed, is architecturally
pleasing and allows ample storage space on the 2nd level until they are ready to
have a home office.
The fact that we were able to offer the full range of Clark Construction services,
from project feasibility, facilitating procurement of a zoning variance, and doing
designs, to permit procurement and project execution made this a trouble free project
for this client.
Additionally, we rebuilt the front wall of the house with new windows and doors along
with a large entry pergola that helps to visually transition between the attractive
stream in front of the house and the architectural challenges of the existing part of
the home, which this project did not address.
