The Challenge
To carve out a transitional master suite on the first floor without making any changes to the exterior facade.
We commandeered a bedroom, a small jack and jill bath and a little hallway to create a spacious master bedroom suite with a modern master bath, the star of this remodeling project.

Working around existing window positions and sizing, we centered a freestanding tub under the window.
A barrier-free open shower with large format porcelain slabs is to its right.
A Caesarstone waterfall counter at the vanity flows into the triangular seat, maximizing every inch of space in the shower.
The design elements work together to create something fresh and exciting.
The glossy porcelain slabs are offset by the texture of the (heated) herringbone tile floor.

Project Highlights
With the Moen U these clients are able to heat up their shower while they lay in bed on cold winter mornings and it even has settings to remember each person's preferences.
The shower niche was carefully designed in this exterior wall to make sure there would be enough insulation to prevent the cold from coming through and freezing their shower products!
