"This private in-home retreat counterbalances "wow" with quiet colors and soft drama, creating a serene place to relax and get away from it all. It's a bath with personality that uses color, textures, and the warmth of wood to give it pizzazz without being over the top."

The Concept
Return this historical home to its former dignity. Remove the ugly additions. Build two new additions to house the kitchen and master bath suite, taking care to complement and build upon the lines of the original home.

Without vertical obstacles, the room feels open and spacious.
Glass-topped knee walls with a lower etched section of glass created private zones for the shower as well as the toilet, while at the same time providing visual continuity between the spaces.

Working around existing window positions and sizing, we centered a freestanding tub under the window.
A barrier-free open shower with large format porcelain slabs is to its right.
A Caesarstone waterfall counter at the vanity flows into the triangular seat, maximizing every inch of space in the shower.

The large glossy porcelain slabs in the shower and on the vanity wall turned out to be nearly impossible to get and install, but persistence and determination got us to the finish line.

Material Highlights
Sometimes a beautiful bathroom ends up with cluttered counters. Not here.
A full height luxury medicine cabinet provides a place for all those products used daily. It's powered and well lit, with the inside of the door fully mirrored. So you can stand in front of it and put on your makeup, or check out your outfit. And just by closing the door, any clutter disappears!

"Thank you for all that you've done for us these past eight weeks.
Your work ethic and commitment to a job well done are exceptional. We always knew you were on top of things and felt that you had our best interests in mind. It was a pleasure working with you, and we can't thank you enough."
